BAC launched new website on Canada Day, 2014
Outdoor Religious Retreats
To show respect to the departed soul of Partha Paul and heartfelt sympathy to his family members, BAC has decided to cancel the Religious Retreat: Outdoor Event scheduled on 13 August, 2016.
Partha was always an active member and sincere volunteer of BAC since his arrival in Calgary in 2005. His great contribution and leadership role in the executive committee of 2007 and 2008 will be always remembered.

Religious Meeting of September-2016
When: Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:00 pm
Where: Silver Spring Community Centre, 5720 Silver Ridge Dr. NW, Calgary
The meeting includes the citation from the holy books, discussion and devotional songs. It is open to all to participate.

BAC donates to Red Cross
BAC donates fund to Red Cross for Natural Disasters and Calamities. This year BAC donated fund to Red Cross for the Fort McMurray Fire Rehabilitation program.

In 1970, fifty Bengali families of West Bengal, India and East Pakistan, living in Calgary formed Bengali Cultural Association of Calgary (BCAC).
